GXRLCODE
“Unleashing Women's Potential”
GxrlCode is a worldwide collective and platform for creative women across the industry.
GxrlCode was founded with the purpose of unleashing women's potential and advancing the evolution of women as creators, leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries all over the world.

What's the main problem in our business?
Which users are impacted most?
GxrlCode projects were delayed since March of 2020, because of the current situation of 2020 most of the projects in the collective were based on events showcasing artists.
Artists and events attendees in Dublin.
What are some ways we could solve this?
-
Create a more digitalize experience for the collective.
-
Create a platform where events, photos, sales, music, and information about the collective can be all accessible.
-
Create a platform easy to access for the members, where new blogs, photos, and content can be updated without the need of a specialist.
Business Outcomes
-
An improved presence online.
-
Only one platform to access future events.
-
Access to all the photos and videos from past events
-
Business information for future Sponsors.
How can we test our hypotheses in the quickest way?
-
Get members of GxrlCode to use the platform.
-
Work together with the graphic designer to make sure the website reflects the brand.
-
Test to users and get feedback for improvement
What's the most important thing we need to learn first?
-
How to distribute the content in pages with an easy and clear layout for easy access for members to edit and add information.
-
Will this substitute the other platforms efficiently .
Hypotheses
The digitalization of the brand could impact and potentially improve the engagement on our platforms if we offer a main site where we can involve our users with our next project.

The first part was to learn and distribute all the features and projects into different pages.
Mark Twain

In order to create a simple but rich website I wanted to minimize the pages and make a simple layout with rich content, so my next step was to decrease the number of pages but keeping it well organized.
This structure will make the site aesthetically pleasing, easier to navigate, and better organize in order to distribute the different teams and tasks into sections.

Together with the Graphic Designer Grace Enemaku, we came up with the color pallet that suits the most the brand.
I knew the colors and design of GxrlCode are bold and wanted to stay true to that but at the same time, giving a more simplistic design to create a better experience when navigating through the page, to highlight the importance of the content.

I created some features to facilitate and reduce the time for collaboration/work/sponsorship.
This feature opens up the current logged-in email in the device you are accessing the website.
The feature auto-fills a message with the "Subject" & "Email" already filled.
Mark Twain
For the event page, I wanted to create something functional that can be navigated within one page.
For this part, I created an overall event page where all the big events are listed from most recent to past events.
A: At the top of the page there is a box to enter the upcoming events, this box will bring you to a page where you can buy the tickets and see the details of future events.
B: Further down we can see the preview of the past events, when you click one of the boxes you can navigate through the photo gallery of the event.

The website has launched together with the Solidarity Colouring Book.
Where POC artists across the world got together to celebrate black and POC artists. All the books were sold out successfully and all the money raised was donated to Masi and Black pride.
The launch was a success not only for the collective but for the POC community and artists involved in this project.
We wanted to give back to our community in these difficult times, and what a better way to do so with our launch.
This created a higher engagement across our social media platforms. 38% increase of traffic on Instagram, 18% on Facebook.
