About Me

My name is Alba Cabello Hurtado and I am based in Ireland.  After graduating with a Marketing degree I decided to pursue a career in UX and Product management. Working in analytics and marketing gives you a wide perspective on the customer's needs and wants. I wanted to grow in a field where great problem-solving strategy is and I can be my creative self. Solving problems and creating to fulfill my creative side made my product leading role one of my greatest passions.

During my time studying UX design and Research I took part in different independent projects, including BlockInnit Blockchain consulting/Service doing prototype design. After graduating I continued to work on multiple projects, landing on a start-up company where I was the lead UX designer. Later on, as Product and UX mobile specialist at Google where I worked with clients across UK, CE, SE & NE markets.

In 2022 and 2023 I was part of a software company start up "GoContractor" as a Product Manager and UX Researcher.

In 2023 I finished my Psychology diploma, and in 2024 Content Writing diploma.

Currently I am the UX Senior Researcher of FBD.
